Airport Regulations – Bahrain

In Bahrain checked baggage allowances are the following. For First and Business Class two checked pieces are allowed. But their total linear dimensions (height + width + depth) of each item mustn’t exceed 62 inches (158 cms) and the weight of each bag mustn’t exceed 70 lbs (32 kg).

Passengers of Economy Class may check in two pieces, provided the weight of each bag does not exceed 50 lbs (23 kgs) and the total linear dimensions (height + width + depth) for both bags added together does not exceed 107 inches (273 cm). For any baggage carried over the free baggage allowances, a charge will be paid. The cabin baggage of the First and Business Class passenger may include One bag (maximum dimensions 22 x 16 x 12 inches or 55 x 40 x 30 cm), or one garment carrier (maximum width 8 inches or 20 cm), and one briefcase (maximum dimensions 18 x 14 x 8 inches or 45 x 40 x 30 cm). Their total weight must not exceed 9 kg.

Passengers of the Economy Class may take into the cabin one bag (maximum dimensions 17 x 15 x 12 inches or 45 x 40 x 30 cm), the total weight must not exceed 6 kg.
