Airport Regulations – Belgium

Traveling to Belgium every passenger is allowed to bring on a plane free of charge one piece of cabin baggage. It should not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and weigh no more than 10 kg. Items of baggage exceeding these restrictions have to be checked in. As the stowage space in the cabin is limited they can be transported in the cargo hold. These measures are imposed by airlines to ensure maximum safety on board aircraft.

If you want to take for instance a laptop, an MP-3 player, or mobile phone with you in your hand baggage, the security laws of the respective place of departure apply. Any baggage in excess of the general baggage allowances is subject to excess baggage charges.
