Airport Regulations – Brunei

Baggage Allowance for passengers traveling to Brunei is 30 kg for Business Class and 20 kg for Economy Class. Each passenger should ensure that each piece of luggage does not weigh more than 32 kg. As for hand baggage, it must be of a size that fits either in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front of you. Weight of each piece should not exceed 7 kg (15 lbs). Total weight of both pieces should not exceed 12 kg (26 lbs). The maximum baggage size is 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20 cm). The placement of bags, briefcases or other items behind your legs is not allowed as it is not only uncomfortable but is dangerous.

Additionally, reasonable quantities of duty free purchases may be carried on the plane, but they must also be stowed in a proper way. Whether checked or unchecked any baggage in excess of the free baggage allowance must be charged for regardless of the class of travel. Except for the Special Excess Baggage charges the charges will be 1,5% of the normal direct economy class one-way fare per kilogram.
