Airport Regulations – Dominican Republic

In Dominican Republic there are restrictions on the amount of baggage that can be carried, both in the cabin and cargo areas, depending on the size of aircraft.

The following regulations are for passengers traveling in economy class. One carry-on bag will be allowed with a maximum weight of 40 pounds and a maximum size of 45 linear inches. Your first checked in bag is $20, your second is $30, with an additional 40 lbs maximum of carry on baggage a weight allowance of 50 lbs (23 kg) per bag. Walkers, wheelchairs and any other assistive devices are welcomed for customers with disabilities.

Excess, overweight and oversize baggage will not be accepted for flights. Bags weighing between 51-70 pounds are subject to a $50 fee for each.
