Airport Regulations – Ghana

Traveling to Ghana by plane you are prohibited to bring in the cabin of the aircraft the following items:
• replica guns (plastic or metal);
• household cutlery;
• knives or replicas of any kind;
• needles or syringes of any kind;
• razor blades or scissors;
• sporting bats, darts or catapults.

Hand and checked baggage allowances vary across classes. Passengers of Business Class are permitted to bring into the cabin 1 piece of hand baggage, not larger than 23 cm x 36 cm x 56 cm (9 in x 14 in x 22 in) overall and not weighing more than 12 kg (25 lb) in total. Besides, they may check in 2 bags weighing 32 kg per each. Passengers of Economy Class are allowed to carry 1 piece of hand baggage onto the plane. This must not be larger than 23 cm x 36 cm x 56 cm (9 in x 14 in x 22 in) and should not weigh more than 8 kg (18 lb) because it must be able to fit under the seat in front of you. Checked baggage allowance for these passengers is 2 bags with maximal weight 23 kg per each.
