Airport Regulations – Guatemala

Traveling to Guatemala, you can carry on one bag plus one personal item per passenger. Personal item - includes: backpack purse, briefcase, laptop OR a similar item They must not weigh more than 40 lbs (18 kg). Moreover, the bag is no more than 45 inches (114 cm) and the personal item is no more than 36 inches when you add the length, width and height so that it fits under the seat or in an overhead bin.  Passengers may also check in 2 bags.

Allowed size per piece is 62 in (157 cm) and maximal weight per piece is 50lbs (23kg). Items that exceed the maximum allowable size and/or weight will be subject to applicable oversize and/or overweight charges. In the case if the items are larger than 115 inches and 100 lbs, they will not be accepted as checked baggage.
