Airport Regulations – Guyana

Currently when traveling to Guyana you can check two bags per passenger at no extra charge. Each of these bags must not weigh more than 50 pounds (23 kg). Its total dimensions must not exceed 62 inches (157 cm) when adding length + width + height. In the case if a passenger has additional bags to check or dimensions or weight are exceeded, he/she will be charged excess baggage fees.

As for hand baggage, passengers are allowed to bring into the cabin 1 carry-on bag and one personal item. Each of them must weigh less than 40 pounds (18 kg). Its total dimensions must not exceed 45 inches or 115 cm (length + width + height). Besides, it must easily fit underneath the seat in front of you or in an overhead bin.

It should be said that it also permitted to take on the board 1 personal item. It may be, for instance, purse, briefcase, laptop computer, camera, diaper bag, and similar or of smaller size items of those mentioned above.
