If you are going to visit Iceland get to know more about baggage regulations. Passengers of Economy Class are permitted to bring aboard only 1 bag which doesn’t exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm (21 in x 14 in x 10 in) and weigh less than 6 kg. Passengers of Business and First Classes are allowed to take into the cabin 2 pieces of baggage with maximal size 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm (21 in x 14 in x 10 in) and maximal weight 9 kg. In addition to this all passengers may take on the plane free of charge such items as a handbag, an umbrella or a cane, a coat or a wrap, a small camera, a pair of binoculars, reasonable amount of reading material, baby food for the flight and baby's carrycot. Disabled passengers are permitted to take a wheelchair in addition to their free baggage allowance, but it must be checked. Baggage taken into the cabin of aircraft must be placed in overhead the bin or under the seats in front of them. The passenger is responsible for his or her own hand baggage.

Besides, passengers may check in 2 bags, not weighing more than 23 kg (50 lbs) each. Total of the 3 dimensions (length + width + height) must not exceed 158 cm (62 in).

If you exceed your baggage allowance or if the bag is oversized in dimension or weight, the excess baggage fees are charged. It is doubled if bag is oversized in both dimension and weight.
