Passengers flying to Jamaica are permitted to take 1 carry-on bag up to 11 lbs in weight and of maximal dimension of 45 linear inches. Handbags are also considered hand baggage regardless of size. Hand baggage that passengers take on the board of the plane must fit in overhead compartment or in space under passenger’s seat. Checked baggage allowance differs depending on the class you fly. Economy class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of checked baggage up to 50 lbs each with maximum dimension of 62 linear inches. Passengers of First class are permitted to carry 2 pieces of checked baggage up to 70 lbs each with maximum linear dimension of 62 inches.
Bags exceeding 70lbs (32kg) and over 62 inches in total dimensions must be shipped via cargo. |
