Airport Regulations – Jordan

Note baggage allowance if you are going to visit Jordan. Passengers of First Class are entitled to check in 2 pieces of baggage, with maximal weight of any piece 32 kg (70 Ibs), the sum of the three dimensions of one piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches), provided that the addition of such two sums shall not exceed 273 cm (107 inches). Economy Class ticketed passengers are permitted to check in 2 pieces, the sum of the three dimensions of one piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches). The maximal weight of any piece must be less than 23 kg (50 Ibs). Infants not entitled to a seat, are allowed for 1 checked bag, with maximal dimensions not to exceed 115 cm (45 inches) and maximal weight 23 kg.

Any weight above 23 kg and up to maximum limit of 32 kg per piece is considered excess baggage and will be charged additional fee. Passengers arriving at the airport with baggage weighing more than 32 kg will be asked to repack or redistribute into other baggage. Additional charge will be applied for any additional piece within the allowed weight and sizes.
