Each ticketed passenger traveling to Kenya is permitted to carry on 1 piece of baggage not exceeding the dimension of 56 cm x 36 cm x 20 cm and weighing not more than 10 kg. In addition to the free allowance, the following may be carried free of charge: a small handbag, an overcoat, wrap or blanket, a small camera, a pair of binoculars, reasonable amount of reading material for the flight, an umbrella or walking stick, infants' food for consumption en-route and an infant's carrying basket.
Moreover, all passengers are allowed to check in up to 20 kg of baggage. When the weight is more than 23 kg but less than 32 kg and for each extra piece not exceeding the maximum allowed weight and size charges will be applied. Any baggage in excess of the above allowances is subject to excess baggage charges. Excess Baggage for weight concept should be calculated at 1,5% of the full IATA one-way fare to the destination. It should be mentioned that every single baggage must not exceed the limit of 32 kg otherwise it will not be accepted.
