Airport Regulations – Mali Republic
Baggage is cleared at the first point of arrival, which is always Bamako International Airport. Exempt: baggage of passengers in transit to African countries.

Your luggage must be strong, lockable, and standard in size - you should check your airline’s requirements.

On international flights departing from Europe, the U.S.A or the Middle East, the luggage allowance may differ: 2 pieces of checked in luggage, 20 kg each or 2 pieces of checked in luggage, 32 kg each. You should contact your airline representatives for additional information on baggage in excess charges.
