Airport Regulations – Netherlands
Any baggage you want to take with you which is more than the regular amount is classified as excess baggage. The fee for excess baggage is determined at the airport according to the number of pieces of baggage or the weight of the baggage. The regulations that apply to your baggage can be found on the e-ticket under the heading “baggage”.

Your baggage is covered by the weight concept in case if the weight in kilograms is indicated on the e-ticket. If it says PC (“piece concept”) on your e-ticket, the baggage is covered by the piece concept. In this case, the excess baggage fee for the piece concept applies.

The combined weight of check-in baggage may not exceed 200 kilograms (441 lbs), or 64 kilograms (141 lbs) on flights according to some airline regulations. The max dimensions of each item of check-in luggage depend on the type of aircraft, varying between 203 cm (80 inches) and 406 cm (160 inches) - length + width + height.

If the baggage comes under the piece concept, each article of baggage can not exceed 32 kg (70.5 lbs) in weight.

Baggage articles that exceed the max dimensions or weight can only be transported as air freight.
In some cases, you can also ask for permission by phone to transport your baggage in the hold: a dog in a kennel up to 75 kg (165 lbs); musical instruments up to 46 kg (101 lbs); wheelchairs.
